The Photographer:
I am confident that I am currently experiencing either my 3rd or 4th lifetime. For two decades, I devoted myself to caring for my family and tending to our household, from my own children to their friends, and then to my aging grandparents and parents. In time, I even took on the responsibility of caring for my grandchildren as their daycare. Those years were filled with cherished moments as I nurtured deep bonds with each of my family members. However, despite the fulfillment it brought me, the toll on my physical and mental well-being was undeniable. Following my victorious battle with cancer in 2011, I made the life-altering decision to pursue my long-dormant passion for art and photography. Enrolling in college to refine my craft and learn the nuances of lighting, I believed that formal education would equip me with the skills to unleash my creativity and produce captivating images that I could proudly exhibit and sell.
These galleries showcase the images I cherish and have accumulated over the years. Having traveled extensively since 2011 and working in photojournalism around Las Vegas, I have cultivated a diverse collection. Some of these visuals remain exclusive, others have graced my social media, while a few have recently been revitalized with my creative touch. I’m hoping you’ll find solace in exploring these assortments. For print inquiries, kindly reach out at shannonbeelman@gmail.com
