Documenting Life - Peace Garden

This little piece of nature was close enough to my home growing up I could walk or bike. While I spent some time in the Rose Garden when I was younger, my main goal of riding over here was the beach. As I grew older and learned to appreciate nature more I started to notice the parks around the lake. Each has been changed and added to over the years.

The Rose Garden is the one everyone talked about, the rows of roses are truly magnificent to see. And the fountains are beautiful. Butt for just enjoying some nature the Peace Garden across the street is the best. With a variety of plants, rocks, and art the park offers winding trails through beds of plants, including a cactus that has survived Minnesota winters.
